Motorless Linear Actuators
Motorless actuators are designed for applications where the drive system is specified separately. Instead of integrating a motor, these actuators provide a high-precision mechanical platform allowing engineers to select the most suitable motor, gearbox, and control architecture for the task at hand.
The Motorless Linear Actuator approach offers flexibility. It’s often preferred where torque, speed, or control requirements vary between projects, or where a standardised motor platform is already in use across a machine or production line.
TOYO Robotics motorless actuators are built around rigid aluminium profiles, precision guides, and proven transmission systems. They’re used extensively in automation, handling, inspection, and clean manufacturing environments where repeatability and long service life matter more than convenience.
Within this range, you’ll find several mechanical formats, each suited to different loads, strokes, and installation constraints:
-

Motorless Linear Actuators
Ball Screw Linear Actuators
TOYO ball screw axes are specified into tier-one consumer electronics manufacturing, semiconductor process tooling and high-throughput fulfilment automation. Environments where… -

Motorless Linear Actuators
Belt Driven Actuators
Cycle time is won on the long axis. The ETB runs 3,050 mm of stroke at 2,000 mm/s and still… -

Motorless Linear Actuators
Cleanroom Actuators
A standard axis will run perfectly well in your cleanroom and quietly cost you yield. Sealed body, integral suction port,… -

Motorless Linear Actuators
Multi-Axis Actuators
Rated as an assembly, not as three axes you hope will add up — so the bracket design, the moment… -

Motorless Linear Actuators
Multi-Axis Robots
Rectangular working area, metres across, real payload — that’s where an arm runs out and a gantry doesn’t. Envelope set… -

Motorless Linear Actuators
Rod Type Actuators
Programmable position, speed and force where a cylinder gives you two end stops. 50 to 800 mm of travel, to 40 kg,…
